TREE WARRANTY INFORMATION

BARCANA, INC. warrants its trees to be free from manufacturer’s defects for PVC and structure/hardware for a period of twenty-five (25) years, from the date of original purchase.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE RESULTING FROM PULLING SINGLE BRANCHES/TIPS TO MOVE THE TREE. THE TREE MUST BE MOVED BY HOLDING A MAIN BRANCH ALONG WITH THE CENTER POLE (tree trunk).

The liability of BARCANA, INC. under this warranty and any warranty implied by state law is limited solely to the replacement of products which BARCANA, INC. determines are defective, and does not include liability for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any warranty implied under state law is limited to a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of purchase for PVC trees.  Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages nor a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

If any BARCANA, INC. product is found defective please notify BARCANA, INC., by mail, e-mail or phone. Please provide the following when contacting BARCANA, INC.: tree style #, copy of original sales receipt, description of the defect and photos of the defect. BARCANA, INC. will repair or replace any BARCANA, INC. product if BARCANA, INC. determines that the defect existed at the time of manufacture or developed under normal use. Freight charges for products considered to be defective are the sole responsibility of the consumer. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required for any return prior to shipping to BARCANA, INC. This warranty is enforceable by the original purchaser of the BARCANA, INC. product from an authorized retail store.

LIGHT SETS WARRANTY INFORMATION

All BARCANA, INC. lights are listed with the Underwriters Laboratory BARCANA, INC. will supply replacement light sets for defective sets free of charge (with proof of purchase) for up to 6 seasons from original date of purchase on LED lights and 3 seasons on incandescent lights.

​

This warranty excludes:

​

• Normal bulb burnout – You should change burned out bulbs at once. If burned out bulbs are not replaced, the remaining bulbs on the light strand will burn out faster than normal.

• Wear and tear or damage resulting from accidents.

• Misuse that can cause multiple-bulb failure.

• Freight charges on light sets are the sole responsibility of the customer.

• Lights damage as a result of outdoor use.

• Alteration (i.e. dimmers, timers, electronic ornaments)

Warranty lasts 2 seasons for manufacturer’s defects.
